Officers responded to the Montgomery Avenue school around 8:20 a.m., where two juveniles were found in possession of the knives, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.
One knife was determined to be a switchblade, which is a prohibited offensive weapon, police said.
"We are unaware of any threats having been made in connection with this incident and no students were physically harmed," a spokesperson for the district told Daily Voice.
"Due to student privacy laws and because this is an ongoing matter, the School District cannot provide any further information regarding the specific circumstances or identities of the students who were involved."
The students were referred to Montgomery Youth Aid Panel for possession of weapons on school property.
